Boyfriend still has online dating profile up
Now, no insurance company, bank, or retailer can lie and tell you that they’re giving you the best price, because you can shop around and do price comparison to ensure that you get the very best deal, and it seems that this has stretched its way to dating. Yes there are honest people who date online and there are success stories, but online dating is the home of many people that have an allergic reaction to being truthful.
Plus the very act of online dating seems to send a message to people that the grass is always greener on the other side, and to spread yourself out there as much as possible.
Everything has been going well and for the first time in a long time I feel like I’m getting attached.
Yesterday out of boredom I signed onto the dating site where I met for the first time in a long time.
The primary reason to keep an online dating profile active is simple: the desire to meet people. Maybe he just likes having his ego stroked when women flirt with him. He may not flirt but likes the idea that women like him. At the very least, this action is a serious sign of disrespect.
The more you worry about how often he’s logging on, and who else he’s dating, and why he hasn’t taken his profile down, the more likely you are to come across as needy.” Now whilst I can appreciate to an extent why he has drawn this conclusion – after all, if you had your opportunity to have your cake and eat it, you would – it really does fail to address the core issue with being with a man who still has an active online dating profile and is continuing to fill his boots and shop around.Strangely enough, this situation seems to happen more often than I would expect: after finding a serious relationship some men still keep their online dating profile active. The explanations for this are pretty weak but these men always make the argument that there’s some good reason to keep their profile active. To save everyone confusion though, I think ‘taking the profiles down’ should be talked about outright, likely in the exclusivity conversation, and not something that is just assumed.
Until a couple is exclusive, there’s really nothing wrong with being on a dating site.John Cusack holding up a boombox in Say Anything " data-medium-file="https://captainawkwarddotcom.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/john-cusack-boombox-58185.png?
