I recently stepped out of a bad marriage with a controlling spouse and orthodox parents-in-law (who were also Indian).another being that i am somehow different when travelling (but that doesnt' explain travelling in australia and only meeting international travellers).i thought i'd throw it out to a wider (australian) forum, before posting it generally, so if there's anyone still up...ps: i am anticipating all those politically correct responses: no, it's not the man's responsibility to start the conversation. Yes as an aussie man I do date and yes I do go out to movies with my date or for a coffee and it depends on what the date wants.
For once, don't jam your calendar with plans a season in advance. Only when they finally went out to dinner together did they both realize their connection.
I've also overheard male colleagues talk among themselves saying that they're open to dating but marriage is strictly a no-no! What Australian men like in a relationship, and to settle down with?
